The Powers Family

On New Years Day we took our little family out for our usual walk (our little family being the 3 of us and our 3 doggies)We also explored the little vacant field about 2 blocks over. We let the dogs off of their leashes to roam with Jack. It is such a picturesque little area, the creek runs through it and there is an extremely old tree that makes a canopy over a little open space underneath. It was also neat to share with Jack that the little duplex in front of the field was Mama's first home. It took him a bit to comprehend that I was once a newborn and had a home away from where we live now to come to. But, I think it sank in.
